Leno FabricsLeno Fabrics are very absolute and durable with no yarn slippage. They have two or more warp threads crossing over each other & interlacing with more filling threads. These fabrics are very firm and allow both light and air to pass through them. They reduces the distortion of threads that is why they were used to prevent shifting of fibers in the open weave fabrics. Leno Fabrics are also called gauze or doup weave. These Leno fabrics are used to make leno bags, sheer curtains. Sometimes they are even used to make thermal blankets, men's and women's summer shirts.
